Rahman Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (RIPSR) is located at Tepesia, Sonapur, Assam. It was started in the month of August, 2019. RIPSR is spread over 1.28 acres of land near Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education. RIPSR is offering education in the Pharmacy discipline with courses offering Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
RIPSR is affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University, Jalukbari, Guwahati for both B.Pharm and D.Pharm Courses. RIPSR is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. RIPSR is also recognized by the Government of Assam and the Assam Pharmacy Council. The campus of RIPSR has been always filled with greenery and pollution-free environment. The campus resembles a self -contained village with seminar halls, auditorium, herbal garden, library, museum, classrooms, laboratories, canteen and parking facilities. The most remarkable feature of the campus is the seamless interconnection of nature and the built environment. The institute is surrounded by greenery and mountains which provides an ideal environment on the campus for study and leisure.
